Romantic ringtones are used throughout the world by many people who are either in a relationship, who want to remember past relationships or who just like the mood it puts them in. Today ringtones have become some would say just as popular as buying music. A ringtone that is set on a phone is usually to describe some feature of the person or some part of their personality.

We all know the feeling of having a nice ringtone and for that reason we are being given such a wide range today. In the past we were only able to have standard ringtones which were what the cell phone came with but today we are able to take snips of songs and use them as ringtones. In today’s modern society even mainstream artists and producers make special songs and beats as ring tones.

As you hear a romantic song as a ringtone it is automatically understood that it is for a reason. Some men who have these are more often choiceless when it comes to the matter. They are basically ordered by their girlfriends to have this specific ringtone. Even in older couples who have been married for years they put as their ringtone their wedding song of a song which has great meaning to them and their life together. The reasons behind having a romantic ringtone is endless but never the less it is still something which is ever so popular.

These ringtones can either be purchased or made. Many new phones today come with features that allow you to make your own tune on the phone. Others even make their own ringtone if they are in the field of producing music. However the majority purchase their music and pick and choose a specific chorus line as their ringtone.

Today this has become a huge industry hence the reason for all the mainstream artists and producers taking part. Even record companies and phone networks pay artists to produce a specific song for them alone. Some of those who have taken part in this industry are, Kanye West and Timbaland. Others have taken part also but have only given permission for the sale of their songs as ringtones.

Romantic ringtones are a reason for many to get into that mood, a mood that we feel special and loved and can share these feelings with others we love. Some of these ringtones are theme songs for romantic movies which greatly impacted the world such as Titanic. The theme performed by Celine Dion has been used as a ringtone for years and is still being used due to the romantic lyrics and the story line behind the music. We have also seen this trend in movies as well when characters have their ringtones set to something romantic.

Besides these romantic ringtones being used for a specific purpose they are also used just for listening purposes. As we have advanced so much in technology we are now able to have full length songs on our phones to listen as we would on an iPod and radio.
